Welcome to Karlskrona

Situated in the South of Sweden, Karlskrona has a pretty warm climate during the summertime, and the closeness to the Baltic Sea gives great opportunities to sail or swim. The city is often called a “city of archipelago”. Tourists are welcome to explore the islands and their lovely nature. By bike or by walking you can visit historical buildings like forts and walls.

The Naval Port of Karlskrona is now on the UNESCO World Heritage List, and in the centre of Karlskrona you find a lot of things to do. The streets are filled with stores if you like shopping, and there are museums if you’re interested in art or history. When you’re done with your sightseeing, why not take a break at one of our many cafés?
Information technology is big in Carscrona and new discoveries are made all the time. If you work with computers or some other technology, this is the place for you.

The town also fits you who study or are going to start at a university. Blekinge Institute of Technology (Blekinge Tekniska Högskola) a university where you learn about information technology is located here.
It doesn’t matter if you travel in business or pleasure, either way you will have a wonderful experience in Karlskrona.
